Cheddar Folk Tale Coffee Morning

‘Cheddar Folk Banners’ are searching for stories of Cheddar and the villages of the Cheddar Valley. They are extending an invitation to all come along to a weekly coffee morning to share tales about the local area. A warm welcome is extended every Monday morning 10.30-12.30 at the Arts Quarter. The coffee mornings are an enjoyable way to hear, tell and share stories.

The project is collecting the stories and legends of Cheddar with a view to illustrating them to include in a series of folk banners for display in town.

The project is led by Artists Liz Bath and Ness Robinson collaborate on community arts projects and workshops as InkJam. Ink Jam has been commissioned by Seed to create the ‘Cheddar Folk Banners’ project with the community of Cheddar.
