What is The Creative Popup?

The Creative Popup is at Angel Place shopping centre in Bridgwater, and will offer a range of activities over the next twelve months!
Based on feedback received from Bridgwater residents at our Creative Accelerators where we were told that not enough creative activities were happening in the town centre. We wanted to create a space that serves as a blank canvas where artists can come and provide unique and engaging projects, exhibitions, workshops or performances free for the public to enjoy.

We have a twelve month lease on the space and the aim is to fill it with a diverse programme of works. We would encourage any artists with project ideas for the Popup or anyone that would like to be involved in anyway to express interest as an artist or group or get in touch with the Seed team

The Popup is now open and over the next few months of 2025 will feature Environmental Exhibitions, Blossoming Bridgwater, Hive and many more to come!

Up next for the space…

Ink Jam are bringing their exciting Mobile Printmaking Studio from Thursday 27
February-Sunday 2 March 2025, 10.20am-4pm to Angel Place Shopping Centre,
Bridgwater for a series of Pop Up T-shirt printing workshops and activities. All free of charge to everyone!

Our workshops are offered on a drop in basis- just turn up and bring your friends or family!

We are interested in hearing from Bridgy locals about their communities. What do you value here? What would you like for the future of the town? We want to talk to you about your memories from the past, and their hopes for the future.
