One of the exciting things about the Seed programme is that not only do we have funding to spend on creative arts, cultural and heritage activities in your local area, but we want YOU to help us work out what to spend it on.
This November 2023, we will be running Creative Accelerator events for Bridgwater.
During these events we hope to meet many members of the community where they tell us the creative activities in these areas, identify what is missing to help us put together a programme of creative events and activities in Bridgwater.
This will include an artist call out for proposals for commission as well as events curated and produced by us.
You will find details of upcoming Creative Accelerator sessions below. With more to be announced and detailed soon.
Remember to sign up to our ebulletin at the bottom of the page to be the first to hear news of events in your area.
Past projects that have come from creative accelerators include The Front Garden Music Festival, Blues in the Pews in Highbridge and the Cheddar individuality project.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the people of Bridgwater to make their ideas a reality. Creative Accelerators are free, open to everyone and are designed in a way that everyone will have the chance to be heard.
As part of the Art’s Council’s Creative People and Places Programme Seed has the budget specifically to bring these ideas and thoughts into reality, building and shaping the programme in Bridgwater for the next 18 months. This will include an artist call out for proposals for commission as well as events curated and produced by Seed.
