Welcome to Street Beats, a youth drumming project bringing the heartbeat of Sound of the Streets to Bridgwater. Commissioned by Seed, Street Beats is all about energy, creativity, and connection using rhythm as a powerful way for young people to express themselves and come together.
What is Street Beats?
Street Beats is an open, inclusive drumming group for anyone under 18. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never played before or if you’re already confident behind a kit — this is a space for complete beginners and experienced players alike.
We’ll explore rhythm in all its forms: from high-energy street drumming to collaborative grooves that build community. No sheet music, no pressure, just the freedom to learn, create, and perform in a way that feels exciting and fun.
