Seed has commissioned Sound of the Streets to bring streets and public spaces in Sedgemoor to life with joyful noise at free outdoor events for everyone to enjoy. Central to ‘Sound of the Streets are ideas of participation and communal celebration, of giving people opportunities to enjoy live music, to dance, make music themselves and sing. After the restrictions and limitations of the Covid lockdowns we need all times need to come together safely and, let our hair down and enjoy ourselves. The events take place in Axbridge, Woolavington and Bridgwater.
Hot on the heels of the highly successful Front Garden Music Festival, we invite you to take part in another set of another completely free and incredibly fun music events across Sedgemoor next month.
AXBRIDGE: Sounds of the Street featuring Tongues of Fire and Jamma de Samba in the picturesque Axbridge Square on Sunday 3 July.
Featuring everything from Brazilian rhythms to hymns, and from street funk to Beatle songs, there will be something for everyone. Come along, listen and dance – plus there will be opportunities to join in the fun with Jamma de Samba, a 6 piece Brazilian band from Bath and the mighty Tongues of Fire who will blow up a musical storm of brass, reeds and percussion
