Bringing a smile

to community street art

Mingle cafe in Bridgwater have begun Reimagining the alleyway behind their community  space. With the help of a commission from Seed, crowdfunding, support from Mind Somerset and a group of local artists working together. The project is themed around positivity, joy and the power of a smile!

Transformation update

What was once a plain and overlooked alleyway beside Mingle has now been completely reimagined thanks to an incredible group of creative artists working alongside Mingle and members of the local community.

The project has been a true community effort. Artists, volunteers and supporters all played a part, from preparing the walls and sharing ideas to picking up brushes and bringing the artwork to life. The result is a space that feels welcoming, inspiring and full of energy.

A huge thank you to every artist, volunteer and supporter who helped make this happen. The alleyway is now a colourful reminder of what can be achieved when creativity and community come together.
