Highbridge Youth Theatre

Highbridge Youth Theatre Group and Highbridge Youth Theatre Company. Both are a part of Somerset Youth Theatre CIC – are a collective of professional Theatre makers and Artists who work with young people across the county to support their original, devised work.

The groups provide safe spaces for young people to create, explore and find their voice through Theatre and the Arts. Using professional artists and experienced facilitators they take theatre into the community, challenging traditional notions of ‘theatre’ as an inaccessible or elitist.

Facilitator and artist Selina Keedwell leads these two weekly youth theatre groups.

Highbridge Youth Theatre Group

Are you 6-11 years old and love performing? Come along and explore devised theatre at Highbridge’s all-new Youth Theatre Group, in association with Somerset Youth Theatre, Wassail & Actiontrack. At Highbridge Youth Theatre you will have fun, make new friends and build confidence. New members are always welcome, and no experience is necessary – although a willingness to play is essential!

Thursdays in term time from  4pm – 5pm at Moorland Hub. Term restarts 22 Sept 2022.

If you are aged 11-18, this is an excellent opportunity to push yourself to the next level. Be a part of new and original devised work, by and for young people in Highbridge and Somerset, in partnership with professional Artists and Companies.
