This is an open access Art group – all ages and experience welcome. A great opportunity to meet up regularly and develop your creative side, in a friendly and supportive environment.
Meeting fortnightly at the Morland Community Hub, the Highbridge Mind Art Group is aimed at people who have a past or present experience of mental health difficulties, or simply isolated, needing to make new connections and build confidence.
Through focussing on creative art activities individuals can relax from normal worries. Resources and materials are provided. The sessions look at artists and art forms and try out different materials and techniques. Participants will be able to develop your current artistic interests and experiment with new directions.
There are social opportunities and benefits from the group as tea is also provided. Come down, get creative and have a natter at this new group.
Highbridge Mind Art Group meets on a Tuesday morning from 10.30am to 12.30pm and costs £3 per session. To book your place and for more information, contact the artist Rachel Gundry on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 07521 101 225 (please note, this phone will be checked for messages on Tuesdays before the group starts).
