Front Garden Music Festival

Come and join us around Sedgemoor for our Front Garden Music Festival! 

On Sunday 6th June 2021, life will be a little more normal in the UK. We will be looking for opportunities to celebrate and enjoy the summer. For performing artists, however, they will still be locked out of many performing opportunities with restrictions in audience numbers expected to still be in place and many venues unlikely to reopen.

Across Sedgemoor, however, local artists will be coming out to play! As part of the Front Garden Music Festival they will literally step out their front doors, set up in their front gardens and perform for neighbours and passers-by. The event will also be live streamed with artists encouraged to live stream their own performance, and an official roaming live stream team of three travelling across Sedgemoor to capture the

The Little Big Horns

A funky brass band using big beats, modern New Orleans s


treet music, reggae, pop and traditional jazz influences. The Little Big Horns will be processing down the Main Street of Bridgwater starting at The Engine Room.

Tom Peppard

A mix of metal and acoustic, Tom will be playing in two locations on Sunday! Join him at The Cron Inn in Catcott at 12pm and then at The Cobblestones, Bridgwater at 3pm.

John D Revelator

Introducing Glastonbury’s own John D Revelator playing original upbeat toe-tapping tunes about local boys done good, local boys done bad, Rabbits, Railways and Revolution. Today’s solo acoustic show will see John debuting a few new songs including one about a very local legend.

Keys on the Quay

If classical music is your bag, then this is for you. Val will be playing Grieg’s lyric pieces for piano right at the Quay for the enjoyment of those passing by her front garden.

Emo Ben

The self described ‘sad man singing sad energetic songs’ – catch him at the Cobblestones.

The Bluebirds Theatre Company

Appearing on the caravan stage, this is a theatre company run by musicians presenting as fusion of classical, folk and jazz. Find them launching the Festival at Other Village Hall at 10am.
